YOGA CLASSES

  • VINYASA FLOW YOGA

An hour of mindful movement, connecting body, mind and breath through a gentle, flowing Yoga sequence in which we aim to calm the nervous system to relieve stress, as well as to move stagnation in the body to release physical tension, relieve aches and pains and to balance our energies. This class incorporates a balance of standing and floor postures to build strength and stability as well as flexibility and fluidity.

This class is a slightly more dynamic flow class than our beginners class, but would still be suitable for beginners with some current physical activity and body awareness.

  • Slow Flow Beginners Yoga

This class is designed as a 12 part series, for absolute beginners curious to begin their Yoga journey, as well as more practiced yogi's wanting a slower, more gentle class.

In these classes we will explore the very basics, the foundations of a Yoga practice, in a gentle and approachable manner, to gradually build strength, flexibility and confidence in your body and mind.

  • Restorative Yin Yoga

Sink into deeply restorative postures to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, to bring deep relaxation to the body and mind as well as releasing long held tension in fascia, tendons and muscles...

In Yin Yoga there is minimal physical effort required, we work on the floor with pillows, blocks and a blanket to melt into deep stretch postures. We release stress and tension through deeply relaxing, slow movement and long holds in nourishing and restorative postures...
