Massage FAQ’s
-
The short answer, it depends.
The long answer; it depends on your health insurance cover, what massage you book, and which therapist you book with.
Tae is not registered for health fund rebates with Medibank or HCF.
Brianna does not yet have health fund rebates for any health funds (coming soon!)
You should be able to claim a health fund rebate for massage with any other therapist, as long as you have “Remedial Massage” or “Massage Therapy” as an extra in your insurance policy.
We have HICAPS available so you can claim your rebate on the spot, and just pay the gap! Easy and efficient.

To get the most out of your massage experience, plan to arrive about 5 minutes early so you have time to settle into the space, use the bathroom and maybe have some tea before your treatment.
For your first massage with us, please make sure you have completed your “New Client Intake Form” before you arrive. This should be in your inbox. If not, please reach out and we will send it to you.
Arrive well hydrated. This will support your body through the gentle detox that naturally occurs when you have a massage, and it allows your tissues to soften more easily.
Please wear underwear. This is a non-negotiable.

Again, it depends. Every body is so different. Some clients find they just need a monthly treatment to stay on top of tension that slowly accumulates. Other clients find they need weekly treatments for a few weeks to get on top of long-term tension or a recent injury. Then, they can gradually spread out the treatment to monthly maintenance or further apart, as needed.
You can discuss your treatment plan with your therapist after your first massage.

Yes, please do. This ensure that you are booked with a Massage Therapist who has completed extra training in Pregnancy specific massage techniques and safe positioning for both you and bub.
If you want a specific treatment type while you are pregnant, write it in your booking note and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
The only treatments you can’t receive whilst pregnant are Aromatherapy Massage, Hot Stone Massage & Kahuna Massage.
